Completion of Ofankor-Nsawam Highway to be delayed; contractor to submit revised date

The Pokuase-Nsawam Highway project's has scheduled completion date of July 2024 will be delayed, according to Ing. Kwabena Bempong, the chief resident engineer.

The contractor has not yet submitted a revised completion date, but the extensive work remaining makes it impossible to meet the initial deadline.

The delay is attributed to the relocation of utility lines and the compensation of affected persons, with some still seeking injunctions and litigations ongoing.

The project's completion date will be extended, pending approval from the Ministry of Roads and Highways.
