Copy of the controversial ‘Agyapadie’ document in circulation

On August 1, 2024, President Akufo-Addo addressed rumors about a document named "Agyapadie," allegedly outlining a plan for the Akyem faction within the ruling NPP to dominate Ghana.

The 38-page document, featuring the Okyenhene and President Akufo-Addo, supposedly details strategies for controlling various sectors.

Circulating just months before the elections, the NPP dismisses it as politically motivated fiction.

The Okyenhene also denounced it as a smear campaign.

Despite its resurfacing and some predicted events occurring, the document's authenticity remains in question.
