Court dismisses Bernard Mornah’s disqualification suit

The High Court has dismissed an application by Bernard Mornah, the People’s National Convention (PNC) flagbearer, challenging his disqualification from the upcoming presidential election.

The Electoral Commission disqualified Mornah due to irregularities in his nomination forms.

This ruling, delivered on October 21, leaves Mornah without legal options to contest the decision, creating obstacles for the PNC as the December elections approach.

Several other candidates, including Kofi Asamoah Siaw of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), and other independent candidates, were also disqualified for similar reasons.
