Inspector-General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare, has announced a significant reduction in Ghana's crime rate, crediting recent Police leadership programs and policies.
Speaking at the commissioning of a 320-bedroom apartment complex for officers in Tesano, Accra, he highlighted how closer community policing has transformed crime dynamics.
By bringing police services directly to communities, crime rates have decreased, enhancing Ghana’s reputation as one of the world’s most peaceful countries.
