The Cybersecurity Authority, led by Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, is developing a framework to monitor and protect students' online behavior amid rising cyberbullying incidents.
Speaking at a seminar by Takoradi Technical University, he highlighted the need for this framework, backed by the Cybersecurity Act, 2020, and Data Protection Act, 2012.
The initiative aims to promote responsible online conduct through awareness campaigns and educational programs.
TTU officials emphasized the importance of cybersecurity knowledge for students' futures and warned of severe penalties for cyber misconduct. The university plans to hold regular cybersecurity seminars to address these issues.
