David Asamoah has been appointed the acting Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), succeeding Samuel Dubik Mahama, who resigned on September 25.
Previously the Deputy Managing Director for Commercial Services, Asamoah has a solid background with ECG, notably as the Sectional Manager of Revenue.
His new position is temporary, pending a government decision regarding the permanent appointment.
The announcement was made by ECG Board Chairman Alexander Afenyo Markin.
