Deputy Attorney General Alfred Tuah Yeboah has affirmed that justice is being served following the arrests of the Democracy Hub protesters.
In an interview, he explained that the protesters were lawfully remanded after a court hearing, emphasizing the importance of due process.
He noted that similar cases have faced no controversy regarding bail.
Despite the prosecution's opposition to bail due to concerns about the protesters' addresses, Tuah Yeboah maintained that legal procedures were followed appropriately.
Currently, 53 protesters are remanded, awaiting their next court appearance on October 8, after violent clashes with police during the protest.
