Dismiss and prosecute officers engaged in illegal land allocation in Northern Region – Minority to Lands Ministry

The Minority in Parliament is demanding the immediate dismissal and prosecution of Lands Commission officers involved in the illegal allocation of government lands in the Northern Region.

Following revelations of unapproved land leases, the Ranking Member of the Lands and Natural Resources Committee, Alhassan Suhuyini, called for urgent action against those responsible.

He stressed the need for transparency and full disclosure of the land allocations and involved parties.

The Minority also urged the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources to release the full report from its investigation and the list of affected lands to ensure accountability and restore public trust.
