Samuel Apea-Danquah, also known as "Yellow Ghana," has filed a lawsuit against the Electoral Commission (EC) after being disqualified from the 2024 presidential race due to irregularities in his nomination forms.

Apea-Danquah seeks a court order to reverse the EC’s decision and an order to reinstate him as a valid candidate.

In similar cases, Bernard Mornah of the People’s National Convention (PNC) and Kofi Asamoah-Siaw of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) have also taken legal action against the EC over their disqualification from the race.
