Mr Lord Hamah, an aspiring Parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress in Tema East, has called on executives and supporters of the party to do everything possible to salvage their image.
He chastised the current constituency executive officers for failing to uphold the tenets of the party and urged them to back-up for a strong footing for the 2020 general election.
He particularly called for the injection of competence, skills, manners, finesse and above all, experience to manage the affairs of the party in the constituency.
He said this in a statement copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Tuesday.
He called for the collaboration of both new and experienced hands in the constituency to achieve their targets, instead of the current trend, where some experienced hands were sidelined from their activities.
“It is regrettable that experienced hands like; Mr Jake Addo, a former Assembly member, Mr Godwin Doe, Secretary to the Ewe Community in Tema Newtown, Mr Stephen Adjei, alias “Moshake” a constituency executive member and Mr Albert Antwi Nuamah, a former Parliamentary aspirant among others have been left idle.
“There is an urgent need to address the entrenched crisis of leadership, Ghana’s industrial capital holds the key to the fortunes of the NDC and re-election of John Mahama in 2020.
“I’ll urge the National leadership of the NDC to make strategic intervention” Mr. Hamah said.
