Former acting CPP Chief Scribe, James Kwabena Bomfeh, has expressed disappointment in former president John Mahama for stating that the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections will be a 'do or die affair'.

Mahama, in an interview on a Techiman-based radio station during his 'Thank You' tour emphasized that he and his party will do everything to win the 2024 elections.

“We learn from the past so we [NDC] have learned our lessons from the 2020 election. The next elections will be won or lost at the polling station...If otherwise, it will be a do or die affair at the polling station. The right thing must be done. We will win our election at the polling station.”

“We will do everything to make sure the election is transparent and fair. We don’t want to cheat them, so they shouldn’t. We won’t wait for any Supreme Court, no!”, he stated.

James Kwabena Bomfeh, in response to Mahama said Ghana will not die for him to be President again.

Speaking to host Nana Yaw Kesseh on Peace FM's ''Kokrokoo'', he cautioned John Mahama and the NDC stating that, ''they should never think that they have majority of the people in this country on their side. You are in the minority. Even when your party had majority of seats in Parliament, you were in the minority in terms of aggregate numbers. Don't deceive yourself!''

''Ghana is bigger than any individual or political party. Ghana surely will not die but live to declare the works of God," he stressed.
