Former Communications Minister Ekwow Spio-Garbrah has called for transparency measures to ensure a credible election.
He urged the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo-Dampare, to ban security personnel from concealing their faces at polling stations.
In an interview on Channel One TV, Spio-Garbrah stressed that visible identification and name tags for officers would deter misconduct and enhance public trust.
He also warned that the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government would address any electoral offenses, emphasizing a commitment to peaceful and accountable elections in Ghana.
