John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), hhas urged multinational companies not to leave Ghana amid economic challenges.
Speaking at the 8th Ghana CEO Summit, Mahama expressed concern over the adverse effects of such departures on job creation, tax revenue, and economic growth.
His plea follows several companies, including Glovo, exiting Ghana due to profitability issues.
Mahama criticised the current government's handling of the economy and highlighted the nation's substantial public debt.
He pledged that an NDC administration would create a favorable business environment to attract and retain multinational companies, promoting economic growth and prosperity in Ghana.
