The competition of the two main aspirants in Ayawaso West Wuogon is causing manna to fall for residents.
Per the usual political dictates in the country, politicians are as benevolent as angels when elections are approaching.
But this time, the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus has created fertile grounds for the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, Lydia Seyram Alhassan and her opponent, John Dumelo to compete for the admiration of constituents.
The two have been seen in various parts of the constituency distributing food items and other things to the vulnerable.
Their aim, they both say, is to render support to those who can’t survive during the period parts of Accra are in lockdown.
It must be noted however that their competition is clean and away from political gimmicks.
After a series of mass donations and unexpected acts from the two, some Ghanaians have taken to their social media platforms to express their delight and fondness of their ‘political competition.’
While some believe the constituents are by far the most pampered others are only waiting for the election results to be declared after December 7.
