Dozens dead in Ataabadze accident on Cape Coast-Takoradi highway

A tragic accident on the Cape Coast-Takoradi highway at Ataabadze claimed 14 lives and left several others injured.

The collision involved a sprinter van, a tipper truck, and an articulated truck.

The articulated truck, attempting to overtake on a sharp curve, collided with the fully loaded sprinter van coming from Accra.

Among the deceased is a baby, while survivors, including fishmongers and fishermen en route to the Sekondi Fishing Harbour, were taken to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

Emergency services responded promptly to clear the scene and assist the injured.
