Cardinal Peter Turkson, Chancellor of the Pontifical Academies at the Vatican, has urged President Akufo-Addo, NPP's Dr. Bawumia, and NDC's John Mahama to draw inspiration from their visits to Pope Francis as Ghana heads to the 2024 elections.
Speaking at the IDEG High-Level Forum, he emphasized adopting the Pope’s values of peace, respect, and prioritizing human dignity.
Cardinal Turkson encouraged the leaders to reflect these virtues in their conduct to promote harmony and avoid conflict, emphasizing the need for leadership that focuses on the common good and compassion for all citizens.
