‘Dumsor’ hits Ghana’s Parliament again

Ghana’s Parliament faced a blackout on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, adding to previous instances during important sessions.

This recurrence echoes past incidents, including one during President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's State of the Nation Address in February and another in March 2024 when the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) disconnected power due to unpaid debts amounting to GH¢23 million.
