EC manipulating voter’s register to influence election outcome – NDC alleges

Dr. Rashid Tanko-Computer, Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the NDC, has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of manipulating the voter's register to influence the 2024 elections.

In an interview with Joy News, he claimed the EC’s handling of voter transfers and discrepancies in the register could lead to election fraud.

Dr. Tanko-Computer criticized the EC for not following legal procedures for voter transfers and for using multiple versions of the register.

He urged the EC to address these issues transparently to ensure the credibility of the electoral process.

The NDC has demanded an independent audit of the register through nationwide protests.
