John Dramani Mahama, the NDC Flagbearer, has criticized the Electoral Commission (EC) for disqualifying Bernard Mornah, the People’s National Convention (PNC) presidential candidate, from the 2024 race.
Speaking at a durbar in Nabullo, Upper West Region, Mahama argued that some approved candidates are less qualified than Mornah, whom he considers a stronger opponent.
The EC had disqualified 11 presidential aspirants on September 20 for not meeting the necessary requirements.
Mahama expressed concern over the fairness of the EC's decision, suggesting possible bias in the disqualification process.
