EC to broadcast IPAC meeting live on Tuesday

The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana will live-broadcast its Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on October 1, marking a significant move toward transparency ahead of the December elections.

This decision comes after the National Democratic Congress (NDC) called for more openness in electoral processes, although the EC stated the broadcast was not a direct response to their demands.

The meeting aims to discuss voter registration and electoral logistics, allowing Ghanaians to observe and assess the fairness of the proceedings.

The NDC welcomed this initiative as a step toward greater accountability.
