The Electoral Commission (EC) will review its suspension of presidential ballot paper printing for the 2024 elections next week, following the death of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) flagbearer Madam Akua Donkor.
The GFP has 10 days to appoint a new candidate per constitutional guidelines.
Deputy Chairman Dr. Bossman Asare confirmed that while parliamentary ballot printing continues, they will reassess the presidential ballots soon.
During a media tour of three printing facilities, he dismissed claims of excessive ballot printing as false and emphasized transparency in the process, stating that political party agents are present to oversee the printing.
