As Ghana nears the December 7 elections, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) has called for a peaceful, transparent, and fair electoral process.
They urged the Electoral Commission to act impartially and maintain open communication with stakeholders.
The Bishops also highlighted the media's role in providing accurate reporting and avoiding sensationalism.
They stressed the judiciary's duty to handle electoral disputes fairly and urged the youth to participate responsibly.
Traditional and religious leaders were asked to mediate peace and unity.
The GCBC reaffirmed its commitment to a stable and just election, encouraging all Ghanaians to uphold democratic values.
