Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, MP for Anyaa-Sowutuom, has expressed doubts about any party exceeding 52% in the upcoming general elections, despite Fitch Solutions predicting a victory for John Mahama and the NDC with 54%.
He highlighted voter sophistication and global trends, suggesting a 54% win is unlikely. Kissi noted Ghanaians' tendency to prefer a change in governance after two terms, which could be an advantage to the opposition.
He also mentioned that new political movements could split votes.
Despite the prediction, he emphasized that the NPP should continue its efforts, particularly in demonstrating the benefits of the digital economy.
