The Judicial Service of Ghana has assured the public of its readiness to handle all election-related cases swiftly and fairly for the upcoming 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

Chief Justice Gertrude Sackey Torkornoo emphasized this commitment during a dialogue with the Eminent Persons Group (EPG), which includes religious leaders promoting peace in the electoral process.

The Judiciary will operate under the guidelines of the new 5th edition of the "Manual on Election Adjudication."

The Chief Justice urged Ghanaians to trust in the Judiciary’s independence and impartiality in maintaining peace during the elections.
