Election 2024: NDC demands live broadcast of meeting with EC on voters register

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling for a live broadcast of its upcoming meeting with the Electoral Commission (EC) on September 6, 2024, to discuss discrepancies in the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) for the December general elections.

NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiavi Kwetey stated that broadcasting the meeting would promote transparency.

The NDC raised concerns over serious discrepancies during the voter exhibition exercise from August 20 to 27.

The party insists that a public airing of the discussions will ensure accountability and clarity in the electoral process.
