Election 2024: NDC raises concerns over EC’s final voters register statistics

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed concerns over the final voter register for the December 7, 2024 elections, presented by the Electoral Commission (EC).

While EC Chairperson Jean Mensa assured that all issues with the register had been resolved, NDC’s Deputy Director of Elections, Dr. Rashid Tanko, criticized the absence of key statistics, deeming it crucial for transparency.

He questioned the EC’s preparedness, noting that officials had retreated to their offices to work on the document.
