Election 2024: None of our polls has shown runoff – Global InfoAnalytics

Musah Dankwah, Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, states that polls show no likelihood of a runoff in the December 7 elections, with both field and telephone surveys indicating a decisive outcome.

He explained on JoyNews’ AM Show that a potential 25% shift from President Akufo-Addo’s 2020 supporters to former President John Mahama suggests a significant swing.

For a neck-and-neck race, first-time voters would need to overwhelmingly back NPP candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, but Dankwah notes their numbers are insufficient to offset the gap.

Among first-time voters, Bawumia has a slight lead, but when considering older non-voters, this advantage fades.
