Election 2024: ‘Presidency turned into a business centre’ – Hassan Ayariga

Hassan Ayariga, the APC presidential candidate, has voiced concerns over the growing monetization of Ghana's politics.

He warned that voters now prioritize money over intelligence in candidates, turning the presidency into a business venture rather than a platform for public service.

In an interview, Ayariga criticized politicians for using their positions for personal gain and stressed that foreign interests dominate much of Ghana’s resources.

He urged for patriotic leadership to safeguard the country's sovereignty and called for leaders committed to serving the nation, not personal wealth.
