Election 2024: We’ll investigate, prosecute corrupt officials – Mahama reiterates

John Dramani Mahama, NDC's Presidential Candidate, has pledged to prioritize anti-corruption efforts in his administration.

At the Governance Forum in Accra, he announced plans to investigate and prosecute corrupt officials, using both local and international experts in an initiative he calls Operation Recover All the Loot.

Mahama also aims to introduce laws preventing political appointees from buying state assets and to create a state assets registrar to strengthen oversight. He emphasized his commitment to making corruption a high-risk activity and enhancing transparency and accountability.
