Enhance healthcare delivery in Ashanti region – Asantehene to Okoe Boye

Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, urged Health Minister Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye to expedite the completion of ongoing health projects in the region.

He emphasized the need for adequate equipment in facilities like Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

He also highlighted the importance of dialysis and cardiovascular equipment, noting the lack of a cardiovascular machine at KATH.

During a courtesy visit, the Minister revealed funds were allocated for the 506-bed Maternity and Children’s block at KATH, halted due to financial issues.

Dr. Boye also donated GH100,000 to Otumfuo's Heal Komfo Anokye Project to refurbish the hospital.
