Examination paper cancellations: Former Minister sends strong message to WAEC

Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, former Minister of Youth and Sports and MP for Wa Central, has urged the West Africa Examinations Council (WAEC) to stop canceling examination papers and focus on preventing malpractices through better planning, structures, and security.

He highlighted the significant effort children put into preparing for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and emphasized the heavy toll of annual paper cancellations on them.

Dr. Pelpuo calls on WAEC to enhance its measures and advises invigilators to be more vigilant in maintaining examination integrity.
