Eyes on the Ground: Ashongman residents 'stranded' as two trucks breakdown in the middle of road

Just after Saturday’s morning rains, two trucks carrying sand to an unknown location broke down in the middle of the Ashongman Purewater road.

One of the trucks fell onto its side while the other is deeply trapped in the mud, making it impossible for the driver to get to his destination.

The incident is preventing other motorists from moving

In the video sent to GhanaWeb, an unidentified man could be seen fetching the sand from the bucket of one of the trucks to the side of the road.
