Tamale Central Member of Parliament, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini has refuted suggestions he invested at Menzgold.

Speaking to Kwabena Agyapong on Front line on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the legislator said, he has never invested with the company and does not even know where their offices are located.

According to him, he rather advised people against investing at Menzgold including former Ghana’s ambassador to Brazil.

Mr Inusah Fuseini said he knew the company was not credible and was a ponzi scheme and so could not understand why people would create a fake list and include his name as someone who invested GHc800,000.

“I don’t have money with Menzgold. The list is fake and a figment of the imagination of those who released it. I have never invested with the company, I have never visited their offices and does not even know where their offices are located,” he noted.

When asked about his opinion on a committee of enquiry to investigate the matter he said, a by partisan approach would be good because it is going help unravel the mystery behind the company, and those who failed to act leading to the crisis.

He cautioned politicians to desist from politicising the matter because if care is not taking, the public will lose trust and confidence in our political leaders.

He said, many people are worried that this list is gong round. The list is fake and very dangerous. But are beginning as politicians as wealthy people with all state resources at their disposal.
