Fisherman feared dead after downing incident at Mumford

A fisherman in his 30s, known as Sofo, has tragically drowned at Mumford in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region.

He was with four others when he was pulled into the sea while pulling a fishing net. Despite efforts by his colleagues, they were unable to rescue him, and his body is still missing.

The chief fisherman, Nana Kwamena Obo, confirmed the incident. The fisherfolks are in mourning and continue to search for Sofo's body.
