Fuseini Fuseini wins 2024 Ghana’s Most Outstanding Teacher Prize

Fuseina Fuseini, a 42-year-old teacher at Madina SDA Basic School, has been named Ghana's Most Outstanding Teacher at the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize awards, coinciding with World Teachers Day.

The event, themed "Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education," celebrated teachers' contributions to the education system.

Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, speaking at the event, warned against indiscipline in Senior High Schools (SHSs) following a fatal stabbing incident at O'Reilly SHS.

The government plans stricter measures, including requiring testimonials for university admissions to address school misconduct.
