GAF will not relent in its quest to counter external threats – GOC Southern Command

Brigadier-General Samuel Yeboah Asare, GOC of the Southern Command of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), has confirmed the GAF's dedication to safeguarding national security against external threats.

Speaking at a Land Combat and Fire Power Demonstration at Bundasi near Accra, he stressed the need for constant training and readiness.

This exercise, part of a training program for senior military students, showcased GAF’s capabilities and readiness to protect Ghana’s sovereignty, with support from air, naval, and special forces.

Air Vice Marshal Bekoe urged troops to remain vigilant, especially ahead of national elections, to protect Ghana’s democracy.
