GRA grants amnesty to users of uncustomed vehicles

The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced a two-month amnesty for users of uncustomed vehicles, effective from August 1 to September 30, 2024.

During this period, penalties that would typically be imposed if such vehicles were impounded will be waived.

The GRA is urging all users of illegally imported vehicles to take advantage of this opportunity to regularize their documentation without facing fines.

This amnesty aims to encourage compliance and streamline vehicle importation processes.
