The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has criticized the lack of basic amenities in rural communities while politicians ride in luxurious V8 vehicles.

Speaking to Citi News, he questioned why it is easier to purchase expensive cars than to provide essential school supplies.

Highlighting widespread corruption, King Tsuru urged the government to take a stronger stance against it.

Through the Ga Mantse Foundation, he has donated thousands of starter packs to school children in Accra, prioritizing their welfare over personal luxury.

He also condemned the former Minister of Sanitation's cash-at-home scandal, calling for determined efforts to combat corruption.
