Dr. Dickson Adomako Kissi, MP for Anyaa-Sowutuom, has admitted to management errors leading to medical supplies being detained at Tema port for over a year.
Speaking on Channel One TV’s "The Big Issue," he acknowledged challenges in handling health resources previously provided for free by organizations like the Global Fund and GAVI.
Dr. Kissi attributed these issues to Ghana's financial struggles and shifting priorities, admitting to missteps that have impacted essential health prevention supplies.
His remarks underscore the logistical and financial difficulties contributing to the problem.
