Bright Simons of IMANI Africa has criticized Ghana's High Commissioner in London for mishandling a legal dispute that led to the seizure of Regina House, a key Ghanaian property, by oil company Trafigura.
Ghana owes Trafigura $134 million after losing an arbitration case over a power agreement.
Simons argues the government failed to act promptly, allowing the situation to worsen, and now Ghana's assets are at risk.
He urged officials to stop spinning the issue and take serious action to protect the country's remaining assets.
