The Ministry of Education will roll out a new secondary education curriculum nationwide for the 2024-2025 academic year, covering SHS, SHTS, and STEM programs.
Developed with input from over 300 experts, this curriculum aims to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, focusing on Ghanaian values.
Director-General of NaCCA, Prof. Yayra Dzakadzie, described it as "transformative" and essential for modern skills.
Teachers are being trained through weekly sessions, and new manuals have been created to support effective implementation.
The curriculum prepares students for further education, careers, and responsible citizenship.
