Discussions that followed the incident at the ICC and a subsequent post by the female journalist indicated the general disappointment of Ghanaians in the CPA boss.

The many shaming comments that was used to asses and describe the comments by Kapito showed that indeed he qualifies to be the “co-wearer” of the 2019 Crown of Shame.

Joining the CPA boss to wear the 2019 “Crown of Shame” is the NPP United Kingdom Branch Communications Director, Nana Ansah Obofuor.

In November 2019, Nana Aba Anomoah, also of GhOne TV criticized President Akufo-Addo for not being able to tell Ghanaians what he had done for the people of Volta region, but rather remained focused on the failures of his predecessor when he visited the Volta Region.

Reacting to Nana Aba’s criticism, Nana Ansah Obofuor descended on the journalist by posting on his Twitter page saying, “See dis useless and hopeless Mahama photoshop girl too, she will not find a responsible man and marry to be a useful wife, but move around sleeping with her colleague women’s husbands for money, allow your son go see his father so he won’t be a bastard.”

The very unpleasant words used by the party executive on the female journalist was met with equal condemnation from Ghanaians, especially on social media and traditional media.

The shaming that followed his post on Twitter compelled the Communications Director to issue an apology to the journalist, through which he also dissociated his party from the comments he made.
