Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has criticized the Kelni-GVG deal, questioning its value for money.
He pointed out that since 2018, the government has paid the company $1.5 million monthly to monitor telecom theft, but no reports or evidence of such thefts have been produced.
Cudjoe described the procurement process as shambolic and said the contract, worth $176 million, has failed to deliver its intended results.
He emphasized that the country has been shortchanged by the deal, as there has been no transparency or accountability in the contract.
