The Ghanaian government is set to launch district-level housing projects to tackle the country's 1.8 million housing deficit, as announced by Minister for Works and Housing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
Speaking at the Busia Institute Lecture at Takoradi Technical University, Nkrumah outlined a decentralized approach aimed at tailoring housing solutions to regional needs and fostering sustainable growth.
The initiative will offer various housing units and create job opportunities, enhancing local infrastructure and boosting economic activities.
