Govt Urged To End Selective Justice

The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) yesterday called on the government to put an immediate end to what it described as selective justice for ministers of the previous government and its functionaries.

It said, it could not understand why some previous ministers were being charged and tried for causing financial loss to the state while some officials of the current government who were found to have been involved in similar crimes were set free.

It cited the case of former Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) Commissioner, Mr. I.K. Opoku Ntiamoah, who had caused serious financial loss to the State but was honourably retired and asked to go free.
