Deputy Education Minister and MP for Assin South, Rev John Ntim Fordjour has highlighted that the government's GH¢129 billion investment in education has significantly improved literacy rates among children under 10, challenging a previous World Bank projection.
He encouraged youth to pursue advanced degrees, emphasizing the supremacy of higher education and rejecting the notion that success can only be found abroad.
Ntim Fordjour noted that education is the cornerstone of national development and the government's investment demonstrates its commitment to transforming the sector.
The University of Education, Winneba, is also shifting to a more dynamic online approach to make education more accessible.
