Two Ghanaian Hajj pilgrims from Damongo in the Savannah region have died due to health issues in Saudi Arabia.
The deaths occurred on June 9 and June 12, respectively.
The Chairman of the Hajj Board confirmed the incidents, noting that the deceased were buried according to Islamic customs.
Over 4,000 Ghanaian pilgrims are participating in the annual Hajj. Additionally, a Ghanaian female pilgrim gave birth to a healthy baby in Mecca on June 12. The Chairman remarked, "So far, so good, except for the unfortunate loss of two pilgrims."
