Halt sale of SSNIT hotels to Bryan Acheampong – Ernest Thompson

Ernest Thompson, former Director-General of SSNIT, criticized the sale of four SSNIT hotels to Food and Agriculture Minister Dr. Bryan Acheampong, citing concerns over long-term investment goals.

This follows North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa's petition to CHRAJ, alleging procedural breaches. However, Dr. Acheampong denies the allegations.

Thompson urged halting the transaction, emphasizing SSNIT's role as a long-term investor.

The hotels involved are Labadi Beach, La Palm Royal Beach Resort, Elmina Beach Hotel, Ridge Royal Hotel, Busua Beach Resort, and Trust Lodge Hotel.
