Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture and MP for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson, has called for peace in Kasoa during the election period.
At the commissioning of the Kasoa Odikro Palace, she urged Muslim youth to avoid violence amid Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.
Highlighting her commitment to peace, Koomson referenced her son’s recent stabbing during the voter registration exercise. The suspect is in custody.
She emphasized Kasoa's reputation is at stake, urging residents to promote peace.
The Odikro of Kasoa praised Koomson for the new palace, which aims to foster unity and stability ahead of the elections.
