The massive street protests this week against President Faure Gnassingbe have been met with intolerable force and marred by atrocities by security officers as they fired tear gas and used other inhumane methods to disperse the determined crowd.
The reaction of the security forces left many protestors especially youth injured and reports of four people dead.
In a new video making rounds on social media, officials of Togo’s Police force are seen manhandling people arrested suspected to be part of anti-government protests in that country.
These people, mainly men, were pushed about with force as blood oozed out of some faces as a result of the harsh treated meted out to them.
